SUMMER SHOW 2024

Show: 2 - 5 pm (with interval)

Join us for a relaxed, fun day of dance performances where around 250 young people aged 3 to 18, from our preschoolers to our Youth Dance Companies, will take to the stage to showcase their skills in hip hop, breaking, musical theatre dance and more, while some of our adult dancers will take part with Hip hop, Commercial, Afrohouse and Breaking!  Take a seat, or bring a picnic blanket and cushions, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the show!

To take part as an adult dancer:

For the first time in 2024, several of our adults classes will take to the stage! If you'd like to be in the show, simply attend the classes listed below for each dance style (or as many of them as you can), where you'll learn a section of the performance piece each week, and each class will have a final rehearsal during June, with times tbc.

If you'd like to perform at the show, please drop us an email to let us know which pieces you'd like to be in, so we can keep you updated!

AfroFusion: attend Saturdays at 2pm on 4, 11, 18, 25 May & 1, 8 June

K-Pop: attend Saturdays at 4pm on 11, 18, 25 May & 1, 8, 15 June

AfroHouse: attend Mondays at 7.45pm on 6, 13, 20, 27 May & 3, 10 June

Hip hop: attend Thursdays at 7pm on 9, 16, 23, 30 May & 6, 13 June

Commercial: attend workshops at 3-5pm on Sundays 26 May & 16 June

To take part as an child dancer:

All of our kids classes work towards the show, from Preschool to Secondary school!  Taking part is totally optional though, and if anyone is unable to make the show or would rather not be on stage, that's totally fine too and they can still take part in classes as usual.  Children must be registered in classes by class time during the week of 27 April - 3 May at the latest. All registered children will receive full show information during the first few weeks of term!
